The Fountain of Youth directed by Orson Welles

The Fountain of Youth (1958) is a roughly 30 minute television pilot for an anthology series that was not picked up by any of the networks. It was made by Orson Welles for Lucille Ball’s company, Desilu. Unfortunately for Welles, the pilot was never aired. However, the film is worthy of Welles and it’s a shame he did not get a chance to do more of the same. (The Encore Entertainment I.D., of course, is not part of the original film.)
